Biamonti 244 – Fragment (in E-flat Major – B-flat Major), 1800
This fragment is found in Landsberg 7, page 151, lines 1–6 (corresponding to page 139 of Mikulicz). It spans 6 to 18 measures and dates to the year 1800.
It is written in E-flat major, transitioning into B-flat major. According to Mikulicz, this fragment may be the continuation of the sketch found on the previous page, which occupies the entire folio. It could therefore be related to the Introduction of “The Creatures of Prometheus,” Op. 43.
For this reason, an audio file was created to allow listeners to hear the entire fragment as Mikulicz envisioned it—that is, including the full content of page 150, which precedes page 151.
