Biamonti 246 – Fragment, (in B flat major), Landsberg notebook 7, page 156, lines 7 – 8, (corresponding to page 142 of the Mikulitz ). 1800.
It is found on page 156 on lines 7 (from mid-line) and 8. It is written, unlike the rest of the sheet, in pencil. Mikulicz defines it as “Unbekannt”, that is, it cannot be associated with any known song; however, he hypothesizes that it could be a first starting point for the Adagio and Allegro of number 15 of the “Creatures of Prometheus” op. 43. In the following pages (160-161-163) Beethoven will deal above all with this passage.
