Hess 145 – Opferlied (Votive Song); on a text by Friedrich von Matthisson. First ever original version. The autograph was in the Grasnick 8 collection at the Deutsche Staatsbibliothek in Berlin and has now been lost. [The institution is now known as SBB; in any case, the Grasnick 8 autograph is still considered lost today. The sketches are in the British Library in London, in the Kafka Sketchbook, folio 68.
