The editor expresses gratitude to Donald W. MacArdle of Dallas, Texas (U.S.A.), for providing information concerning catalogue entries 49, 50, and 318–320.
Since Willy Hess compiled his catalogue in 1957, entries 49 and 50 have been identified as WoO 38 and WoO 39, respectively. The remaining entries—318 through 320—have yet to be definitively clarified. For further context, refer to the editorial notes under entry 316.
