Castelli Ignaz Franz (1781-1862)
Ignaz Franz Castelli (1781–1862), Viennese poet and playwright. For Beethoven, he was a friend within his circle, offering libretti and theatrical ideas. His memoirs, published in 1861/62, preserve valuable recollections of the composer.
