Site Essays: Articles and Essays on Concerts, Events, and World Premieres

These pages will feature all articles, whether published or unpublished, written by contributors to the research center who wish to support Beethovenian research. Some have appeared in specialized journals, while others were created specifically for us. Among our contributors are Michel Rouch, Luigi Bellofatto, Graziano Denini, Antonietta Cappelli and Giovanni Mura. The same articles will also be available on their dedicated pages within the site. On Saturday, August 1st, at 9:15 PM, the Teatro ai Parchi in Nervi hosted a national preview: Le Creature di Prometeo/Le Creature di Capucci, with costumes by Roberto Capucci and choreography by Simona Bucci. Leonardo Sini conducted the Orchestra of the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa. (The staff of the Music Research Center, www.lvbeethoven.org, were among the audience.)

Completed with the thirty-three missing bars in the first movement by Albert Willem Holsbergen, a great Dutch musicologist who had already created a famous reconstruction of the Macbeth Overture, published by IneditaRecords, the trio takes us back to the youth of the Master from Bonn.
