Site Essays: Articles and essays on the places related to Ludwig van Beethoven, where he lived and worked, important to his life.

These pages will feature all articles, whether published or unpublished, written by contributors to the research center who wish to support Beethovenian research. Some have appeared in specialized journals, while others were created specifically for us. Among our contributors are Michel Rouch, Luigi Bellofatto, Graziano Denini, Antonietta Cappelli and Giovanni Mura. The same articles will also be available on their dedicated pages within the site. Inaugurated in 1929 (precisely on Sunday 3 November), it was commissioned by Rapallo residents who had emigrated to Chile and wanted to give their hometown a venue suitable for band concerts: the Rapallo families who had relocated to South America opened a subscription which was completely successful within three years.
