Biamonti 96 – Adagio and Allegro for piano (Unused sketches), 1795.

Music and texts by Graziano Denini

Biamonti 96 – P.34. According to Prod’homme, a Liepmannssohn autograph catalogue of 21-22 May 1909 listed some pages containing a draft of the song “Die Liebe” Opus 52 number 6 and other unfinished pieces: an Adagio for piano, followed by an Allegro, with this annotation: “The difficult thing is to smooth all this passage of the fingers, but it must make the effect as if it were played with a bow”; a Rondo in E flat; a sonata in the same tone; an Allegretto “don’t le sentiment rappelle la Sonate au clair de lune”. We lack other news. It is found on the first page of a bifolio at the Beethoven Haus in the Wegeler Collection (Sammlung Wegeler W 3) on lines 1-4
