Biamonti 399 – “Lustige Symphonies” (Cheerful Symphony), circa 1803.

(Page 159), mentioned by Nottebohm (page 71), without reproducing the music. It is found in the Landsberg 6 Sketchbook, better known as the Eroica Sketchbook, on page 159, lines 11–12. Rachel W. Wade cites it on page 287 of her article analyzing the entire sketchbook, without indicating its intended instrumentation and incorrectly identifying the time signature (4/4 instead of 2/2).

On page 71 of his book Ein Skizzenbuch von Beethoven aus dem Jahre 1803, Nottebohm describes it as: “ein abgebrochenes Stück mit der Bezeichnung: ‘lustige Sinfonia’” [a broken-off piece titled ‘cheerful symphony’].
