Biamonti 459 – Sketch for Piano, Grasnick Notebook No. 3, Sheet 2, First Page, Lines 1 and 2 (Dagmar Weise, page 63). Final months of 1808.
This sketch is housed at the Beethoven-Haus, within the Grasnick 3 notebook, sheet 2r, lines 1–2. The intended destination of this musical note remains unknown; however, Beethoven inscribed the word “tutt” above the upper staff, suggesting it was meant for some orchestral composition. The sketch is in D minor and written in ¾ time.
