This sketch is preserved in Berlin at the Staatsbibliothek, within the sketchbook known as “Grasnick 3,” specifically on sheet 16r, lines 1–2. As with the preceding entries, the fragment is concise and elusive, devoid of any key signature or explicit destination. Nevertheless, Dagmar Weise, in her rigorous scholarly transcription, suggests that it may be connected to the Fantasia for Piano, Chorus, and Orchestra, Opus 80.
