Hess 101 – Minuets (12) for piano, December 1795 Published in Vienna, Artaria, December 1795, and more recently by Willy Hess in the eighth installment of the Supplemente zur GA, 1964 – Hess 101.

They are the piano editing made by Beethoven himself of the Twelve Minuets for orchestra WoO 7.

[Piano version of] the twelve Minuets for orchestra [WoO 7] (GA, series 2, no. 16). Beethoven’s original piano version was published by Artaria in Vienna in 1795. Both versions [Hess 100 and 101] were originally supposed to be included in the GA, Series 18, at nos. 201 and 202. At the time, however, they were not published, although there was no doubt about the authenticity of these versions.
