Biamonti 52. Andante in C major, November 1792 – early 1793. The manuscript is preserved in Vienna, (catalogue number 383 of the “Beethoven-Zentenar-Ausstellung der Stadt Wien”). It was published by Henle Verlag: ” Neuausgabe, 1957 der Urtextausgabe der Bagatellen Beethovens ” durch O.v. Irmer, page 217 as well as by Willy Hess in 1965 in the ninth book of the “Supplemente zur G.A”.

New sources: Composed around 1790-1792 in Bonn. The First edition was published posthumously in 1957 by G. Flenle Verlag, Munich-Duisburg. The time limit is based on papyrological studies. According to Douglas Johnson, Beethoven used the same paper for the fragment of the violin concerto WoO 5 and for a sketch for the Lied “Flohlied” (see Op. 75) as well as for the sketches “Miscellanea Fischhoff (DB, Mus. ms. autogr. Beethoven 28, bl. 18f). Almost all of the works and sketches annotated in this document can be dated to Beethoven’s last years in Bonn, between about 1790 and 1792 (Johnson/Fischhof, vol. 1, p. 251).
