Biamonti 467 – Sketch for Piano, Grasnick Notebook No. 3, Sheet 30, First Page, Lines 1 and 2 (Dagmar Weise, page 115). Final months of 1808.
This sketch is preserved in Berlin at the Staatsbibliothek, within the sketchbook known as “Grasnick 3,” specifically on sheet 30r, lines 1–2. It is written in C major and in 2/4 time. According to Dagmar Weise, who transcribed and analyzed the entire notebook, this fragment may be connected to the Fantasia for Piano, Chorus, and Orchestra, Opus 80, due to thematic affinities with the principal motifs of the work.
